The First Meal

Why on Earth do our parents expect us infants to eat this disgusting tasting "food" they call rice cereal? Why!? Have you tried it...?? You can tell I'm the third kid, as Mumma didn't give my brothers any food until they were at least 6 months old.

I'm curious, why don't they just start off with a nice serving of Grandmas jello salad? ...well, actually my Mumma did! She gave just a taste to Great Grandma Bates' ribbon jello salad and I was hooked! Yummo! And now she thinks I'm going to eat rice cereal? Okay, beggars can't be choosers so I will eat the stuff, but the good stuff better follow right behind this paste they call food!

And, yes, it does help ME to eat when Mumma opens her mouth wide. :)

Ian 5 Mos

Happy Birthday Jesus!

While Jesus celebrates yet another glorious birthday we had a very Merry Christmas in his honor! Santa came, he really came! What a joyous day!! He brought me some nice things, but the best was the Wii and games that were on my list for him. I did manage to stay in my bedroom until 7:00 (that's the law in this town) but straight up on the dot, I was outta there and ran right downstairs. Elliot and Ian were excited too, but not nearly as much as I.

Just before Christmas Santa sent me a very special message, you can click the link below if you would like to watch it. (You may have to copy and paste the link into your browser.)

Visit to Santa

We finally got to go see the big man so I could let him know everything, and I mean everything that is on my Christmas list (see below), which by the way, I wrote all by myself. Elliot wanted NOTHING to do with him, but I'm sure it didn't hurt Santa's feelings and he will still bring Elliot some nice things on Christmas Eve. Ian, well, he just goes everywhere we do.

Just in case you can't read it (claw car, hot wheels, Wii with Cars and Monster Truck game, airplane)
(Nerf Gun, RC helicopter, Toy Story 3 Spiral Speedway)

Hiii-Deee-Ho

Some of you will be laughing hysterically at this post (and you know who you are) while others will have no idea what this picture represents. So just watch a Christmas episode of South Park and you will see a character resemblance to the photo. I bought this new "tortilla" (aka swaddler) for Ian, since he was too much of a beefcake and could bust out of the others that we had. I didn't realize the color when I bought it and well, as you can see by the picture... well, enough said. :) Hiii, deee, ho!

Ian - 4 Months

Okay, so it's a bit late, I guess Mumma should have just waited another couple of weeks and posted "Ian is 5 Months". I am growing like a weed, still in the 75% for height at 26" and in about the 75% for weight at a hefty 15.9 pounds. I still like to make sure my Mom and Dad are still around and eat 2 or even 3 times a night (thus the hefty 15.9 pounds). And Mumma calls me a very "spirited" infant, honestly, she's just being nice when she says that, cuz I'm a pretty high maintenance baby. Or is that what she's calling me...??? Hhhmmmm....

Ho, Ho, and Ho

Snow Beautiful Snow

Oh the glorious white stuff is upon us! I have been waiting a very long time for this day! If I wouldn't freeze, I could be outside all day playing in the snow. Elliot doesn't just yet have the same feeling as I do, but still likes to play outside with me.

O Christmas Tree

Ah...she's a bueat Clark! We found the perfect Christmas tree, until we got it home and figured out that it was sitting on a hill at the tree farm! That's no problem for my Dad, he can fix anything!!!
