Tractor Ride, Tractor Ride, Tractor Ride

...is what I say all day long, or at least as long as it takes until I get my way. Yeah, I've figured Mom and Dad out already, suckers.... I go for at least one tractor ride a day and most of the time I drive (with Dadda helping me out of course).

Look what else we saw out our back window the other day, a rainbow! It has all of the colors that I am learning about red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

The Rythm of my Day

This is my second semester of my Kindermusik class. This semester we learned about steady beats, syncapation (which is an unsteady beat), and spacial relationships. I got to hang out with my buddies Mason, Trey (his real name is Robert), and Gavin. I just love to make music with all of the instruments!

Are Men Born This Way?

Mumma says that men must be born doing this.... what is that supposed to mean? I mostly see Dadda doing it when he is laying down watching TV. I thought I would give it a shot... and it IS really comfortable! :)

18 Months...and growing

...well growig UP anyway. I grew about 3 inches since my 15 month checkup. I am now 32" tall, which places me in the 50th percentile (which is just a fancy way of saying that 50% of other kids my age are tall than me and 50% are shorter). I still didn't gain any weight though. I'm a hefty 20.6 pounds, which places me in the >3rd percentile (which means that 97% or greater of kids my age weigh more than me). Yehp, I guess I'm just gonna be a smart, tall and skinny kid - like my Mumma! :) My doctor isn't worried about my weight issue because I am still following the "curve" for growing. If I stop following the curve, then he will do some further testing. Everything on my check up was great - and a double bonus for me cuz there were no shots this time! Yippie!!!! The doctor was really impressed with my vocabulary and that I can now put two words together. He even gave me a book, I guess as some sorta peace offering for all of the shots he's given to me. Oh, but I did have another ear infection, so back on that yucky medicine for me.... :(

Butterflies!

Mumma took me to go see a butterfly exhibit the other day. I had soooo much fun, my friends Gavin and Mason went too. It was so kewl to have all of these butterflies dive bombing my head! There were tons of them! We even got to see (and get a picture) of a Clearwing butterfly. One butterfly landed right on Masons' head! I'm really glad that Mumma took me to go see the butterflies....

My Cousin Kate Turns 1

My cousin Kate turned one on April 14th! I can't believe it - I remember when she was just a little tiny baby and now she's crawling all over the place! We all got to go to her birthday party, but we had to take a long car ride to get there. I had so much fun playing with Kate and my second cousin Alexandra (she's a big girl, she's 3). Kate got a lot of kewl new toys like a Harley just like mine, except hers is all girlie.... Oh and guess what? There were lots of balloons there!!! Yippie!!!

I also found out that my Aunt Jen and Uncle Eric are gonna have a baby boy in September. ....Sweet!! I will have so much fun playing with him (when he gets older of course - I determined new babies are pretty boring...all they do is just sit there and then sometimes cry).

"Mountain" Climber

I've discovered a whole new world...climbing! I think it's so funny to watch Mummas face when I go climbing. Why does she think she has to follow me all over the place!? ...geez, just let me be a little boy, would you!?

Happy Easter!

Snow!? On Easter!? Yehp - we got about 4 or 5 inches Dadda tells me. He had to shovel yesterday and today! The Easter bunny came to visit last night - he left me all sorts of good presents! Grammy and Grampy got me a really kewl wagon that is just my size. I pull it all over the house. I also got a new wooden puzzle and some new Summer jammies from my Godparents Jill and Steve. Now all we need is some Summer weather!

Mumma and Dadda told me the best present that I will get EVERY Easter is Jesus dying on the cross for all of my sins, then he rose from the dead! WOW! That's a pretty neat present!

I had Easter dinner (after Church) with my Grammy, Grandma Jean, and Mummas friend Tara (Grampy was out of town). Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmm boy was it good! I even ate the asparagus - and guess what.....? My pee stinks too! :)

In the Doghouse!

Dadda says that I better get used to being in the doghouse.... but why would I want to live in a doghouse?! Then Mumma told me not worry about that 'cuz she would raise me right so that I don't end up in the doghouse. Whew! ....as much as I love my doggy, I sure don't want to live in here!

It's been a while...

I know, I know, it's been quite a long time since I have updated my blog! Don't you know that I have things to do!? Especially now that I can run all though the house. Oh and I've become quite the climber too! I try to say just about everything you ask me too and have a huge vocabulary. Mumma and Dadda say that it scares them sometimes to hear all of the things that I can say and recognize. Yeah, before they know it, I will be telling them their business! :)

Lately I have really become attached to Elmo - you know, from Sesame Street...?? He is my favorite!!!! I get to watch Elmo's World almost everyday. I also like Big Bird (but I just call him Big B) and Oscar too.

Mumma and I are still going to our music class once a week. It's a lot of fun playing with all of the instruments and learning about music and rhythm. Plus I get to see my friends Mason, Gavin and Trey.

And now that the weather has started to warm up I just LOVE to be outside. My favorite thing to do is to go with Dadda to see the tractor! Did you know that that when the sun is out there is someone just my size that follows me everywhere? Mumma told me it's called my shadow. I just can't get away from him - so we have become buddies and he goes everywhere with me.

I've been working on my ABCs and 123s too. I will "count" with you all way to 10! I'm really not sure what all of those numbers mean, but sure do know how to say them! :)

Well better get back to playing!

Mason & Me

My buddy Mason got to come over and play with me the other day - what fun! Mumma said it was "monkey see, monkey do" - but I wasn't sure what she was talking about since neither one of us are monkeys... duh! Mason and I got to play the drum, play catch (well sorta), and draw with my crayons.

Newsflash - February 5, 2007: Now.... keep in mind that I could have done this MONTHS ago, but I thought I would just keep on with the free rides from Mumma and Dadda. I go all over the house now - even up (and down) the stairs. I LOVE it when my Doggy chases me.

15 Month Check Up

Well, they finally figured out what's "wrong" with me!! I don't understand why Mumma was crying and Dadda was so happy! :) Watch the video and you will see that I was diagnosed with "The Knack"!
