I had my halloween party at preschool today. We got to make lots of kewl crafts, eat jello with eyeballs, and then go trick or treating. We learned about halloween safety and to always listen to our parents. Happy Halloween everyone!!

Happy 4th Birthday Myles!!!

Man did I have a GREAT birthday!!! Not only did I get to have like three "parties", but cake, cake, cake, oh.... and presents!!!! All I have been talking about and wanted for my birthday SO bad is a new train engine named Rocky....guess what... I got him!!! I also got many more new engines like Rosie (another engine I've wanted for a while), Smudger, Mighty Mac, and the Happy Birthday Thomas engine/box car set. I took some special cupcakes to preschool and then had a small party with a few friends at my house, then we went to my favorite place to play (eh hem...I mean eat!), McDonalds!!! I had a fantastic day - thanks so much to everyone for coming to celebrate my birthday with me.

Zoo Boo

We all went to the Binder Park Zoo annual Zoo Boo, which is where they decorate the zoo with thousands of pumpkins and other (not so) scary Halloween stuff and then you can trick or treat at different themed stations. We met up with my friends Owen (Batman), Billy (Power Ranger), and Gavin (skeleton). There were a few kewl games that I played and won some neat prizes, but the best part about the Zoo Boo....the train ride!!!! Guess what my costume is this year..... (and I'll tell ya, that you will only need ONE guess!).... that's right, Thomas the Tank Engine. And guess what Elliots' costume is this year..... yehp, right again, yet another hand-me-down costume of mine! :) Stay tuned for plenty more Halloween pictures!

Just Playing Around

Now that Elliot is getting bigger he can play with me more (you know, doing big kid stuff). He loves to go for a ride in my Jeep with me and loves to watch some of my tv programs too.

Kindermusik for Elliot

....finally that woman I call Mumma has gotten it together and put me in a music class of my own. I'll tell ya, it gets real old just taggin' along with your big brother to his music classes all the time! I LOVED my first class and starting in January I will get to go every week when Myles is in preschool. Maybe one day Mumma can get my dance moves on video for ya...you would be impressed. :)

What I do...

at preschool... Just thought I would give you an idea of the sorta things I do at preschool. Everyday we say the Pledge of Alligence, learn a bible story, and learn (how to write) our letters. Below is something I did last week - I wrote my name! I know, it's kinda hard to read, but you can see the M Y L E S at the top of the page. Also note the excellent color job on the cat (who is orange for Uncle Ben and Aunt Wendys mean cat Mittens). Mumma says.... now if I could only learn how to make dinner.... :)

We Have Lift Off....

Well not exactly lift off, but I did decide to give this walking thing a try. Here is a short video of me taking some of my first steps. I thought maybe I would keep my "Frankenstein" walk just for Halloween, ya know, just to be festive and all. I find that sometimes it's way easier (and faster) to just crawl, so I won't be giving that up anytime soon. I will say this walking thing is definitely way easier on the old knees!

St Joe County Fair

Yehp, that's right, yet another fair. Man, I just love these things. As usual, I did my regular ole' fair routine and started my day out with a few rides and then decided I needed to do something different. So I went through the funny house - there was a room full of mirrors and glass walls and if you didn't watch where you were going.....bam....right into the wall! I only did this one time and then the carney had to come rescue me and help me get through the rest of the maze. :) We saw lots of animals, tractors, and of course ate lots of yummy food.

Elliot had a great time....Grammy spoiled him rotten, well really more like spoiled him with rotten food! :) He got a few licks of a lollipop and Grampys ice cream cone. Oh, and then there was the french fries and corn dog.

My First Field Trip

tI had my first official field trip with preschool last week. Since we are learning about apples this month, we went to a local apple farm where we got to pick apples, take a hayride, and drink some apple cider (right after watching it being made!). Did you know that if you slice an apple in half you will see a special shape??? Do you know which shape??? :) I went with my entire class including my buddy Alex and his mom and sister. We had a great time.

Fall Kids Day at Wedels

A local garden center had a fall kids day with a small petting zoo, huge pile of sand, kid crafts, and best of all.... a REAL train table. As you could guess I did NOT want to leave the train table and it was so hard to not touch any of the kewl trains. Our firetrucks came out too and I even got to hold and spray the water hose. We went with my buddy Alex and his sister Claire (Alex is my buddy at preschool and also goes to my church). Elliot even had a good time looking at all the animals.

Go Broncos!!!

Mumma and Daddy took me to my very first football game. We went the home opener for Western Michigan University. ....and it was SWEET! Too bad I was so tired from all of my jumping at Billys birthday party (just before the game). I think the best part of the game was not seeing Buster Bronco, the fireworks, or the band, but the passenger train that went by the stadium during the game. :)

Jungle Joes

I went to my friend Billys 4th birthday party at a place called Jungle Joes. It's a big room filled with all sorts of blow up jumpy things. Mason and I did NOT stop for nearly one and half hours!!! I even got up the courage to climb up (and slide down) the biggest slide they had. I think Mumma got a little nervous that once I actually got to the top, she should have to scale the climbing wall and come rescue me..... ha! Not this time Mumma!!!!

Elliot a Go Go

If I'm in the room, don't expect to sit down....cuz I don't! I'm still not walking (although I'm pretty sure I could if I actually tried...) but that doesn't stop me from doing whatever I want to do. One of my favorite outside toys is the Cozy Coupe (aka Fred Flintstone car), I can play for a long time just "driving" in my car. :)

Hilltop Preschool

I had my first official day of preschool today. I am going to the preschool at my church. I go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 3 hours each day. I LOVE it!!! You shouldda seen all of those babies crying when their Mummas left.... not me.... I ran off without even saying goodbye. (Although Mumma did make me come back and give her some sugar before she left.)

This week my classroom job is to hold the flag when we Pledge Alligence, pretty kewl job, huh!? I will have a different job each week. Our first field trip is to a local apple cider mill next week, that's gonna so much fun!

A Weekend with Wes

I got to spend Labor Day weekend with my cousin Wes. Can you believe he's 6 months old already??? It was nice just being able to hang with Wes without my brother coming over and budding in! I think one day, very soon, the two of us will be best buddies. We already are pretty scrappy with one another, so the next few years should be pretty interesting! :)
