Snow, Beautiful Snow!!

Finally, we got some more snow!!! I could play in this stuff all day long!!! Elliot likes to come outside with us, but I don't think he likes the snow as much as I do.... probably because he can't really walk around in it. :) Although this time, Daddy put me to work shoveling. They even bought me a kid-sized snow shovel. Whassup with that!? ... aaahhhh, people.., I do not come outside to work in the snow, I come out to play!!! :)

Happy Valentine's Day

I had a valentines party at preschool and Mumma and Elliot came to help. Well. honestly, Elliot didn't really "help" much, but he had fun. We played "Kiss the Frog", decorated cookies, and made some kewl tic tac toe crafts.

Elliot is 18 Months

Holy cow.....where does the time go!? I know it's been a while since we have updated our blog, but I'm busy ya know. Places to go, people to see......

Elliot had is 18 month check up and I thought I would pass along his stats. Well, as you could guess, he's just like me, a shrimp. The doctor said he is "barely hanging onto the 3rd percentile for weight" at 21.06 pounds and is in the 10 percentile for height at 31 1/2 ". So he's a shrimp, but a healthy one. He did have an ear infection in his right ear (so much for the ear tubes he had put in not even 6 months ago!) and is getting over a cold.

I am doing great! I still love preschool and am learning a lot of different things. I will start a whiffleball class in a couple of weeks, and I am really looking forward to that!

Mumma is feeling great - she is now 4 months pregnant and we will get to find out the gender of the baby in just a few weeks!! .....and it better be a girl!!! I already have a name picked out for her, Super Girl. It's hard for me to wait to see the baby and I ask Mumma just about every day if the baby will come today. :)

Well, as Mumma suspected, Elliot was (totally!) freaked out by Santa so she had to be in our picture with the big man this year. Not me, I wasn't scared.... I hopped right up on his lap and was sure to tell him just exactly what I wanted for Christmas.... "Hot Wheels and everything else". Now all I have to do is convince the man that I have been a good boy. :)

The Nativity

My preschool class acted out the nativity and each of us had a very special part. I was a wiseman that brought frankencense.

Macklin/Bates Christmas

We got together with the Macklins and Bates for our Christmas party over the weekend. It was so nice to see everyone!! Elliot and I both had a lot of fun with my cousins and got some very nice things.

Blizzard of 2009

Well, "they" (who ever that actually is) said it was going to be a tough winter, and so far, "they" have been right! We had a good old fashion Michigan blizzard for three days! ....it was GREAT!!!! Who cares if the wind chill was below zero, and wind gusts of 40 MPH, look at all of this snow!!! We got overall about 14-15" of the fluffy white stuff. Elliot even had his first trip out in the snow. He wasn't so sure about that cold wet stuff at first and pretty much just stood there and watched me and Daddy, but then after a while he didn't want to come inside. I don't think it's so much that he didn't like the snow, it's just that he couldn't actually move in all of his winter gear. :)

Hey Dad.... you missed a spot, and you know how Mumma can't stand a snowy driveway..... :)

Gingerbread House

Mumma and I made our first gingerbread house together. It was so much fun putting all of the candy on the house! And if you can believe it, I didn't eat any of it!!! :) Mumma put some icing "lines" on the roof for me and I placed each and every little piece of candy.

O Christmas Tree V

This year we found the perfect Christmas tree. It's a lot smaller than the one I really wanted to get, but Daddy said something about making sure we can get it through the door.... It was a fun trip to the tree farm. We all rode in the big hillbilly truck (and I got to ride in the front seat) and then on the way home Daddy treated us to some gas station snack (junk) food and kid juice.

Later I got to help Daddy put all of the decorations on the tree - I even put the Angel on top.

Myles Goes Bowling

I have been talking about going bowling for months now and my Mumma and Daddy finally took me. I went with Rachel, Matthew, Janie, Sam, and Ally. We had a great time!!!! I loved to bowl!!! My score was 80 and I even got one strike! Actually, I beat Rachel, Matthew and Janies Mom Jill. It probably helped that I had bumpers on the gutters and a ramp to help me get some power behind my swing. When we were done bowling, I got to drive a car. Well, not really, but I did get to play a video game. Good thing I have plenty of time left to practice driving, cuz my cousin Dani said I'm gonna need it!

First (NEW) Pair of Shoes for Elliot

I finally got my first new pair of shoes. No more hand me downs from my brother. Maybe now I will start to walk like a normal baby!!!

Festival of Trees

Mumma took me and Elliot to the Festival of Trees. There were lots of pretty Christmas trees and super kewl gingerbread houses. I loved watching the entertainment shows of dance teams and the Suzuki (little kids) orchestra. There was also a kids area where I got to play lots of games and even visit the big man himself! I told him exactly what I would like for Christmas and that I promise to be a good boy. Elliot wanted NOTHING to do with the fat many with a big white beard, but finally decided Mrs. Claus was okay. :)

Little Steps Holiday Program

We had our holiday program at Little Steps (daycare on Tues/Thurs). Elliot's class "sang" Sleigh Ride and jingled their bells and all of the classes acted out the book Chicka Chicka 123. I was number 9 (see below) and Elliot was number 90. My class sang "8 Little Reindeer". I didn't actually sing much, but had a good time anyway. Some kids were pretty scared, but not me or Elliot. Elliot was the only "baby" jingling away....and he was sure to give himself a nice round of applause when he was done.

Holiday Parade

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Well, as you might recall from a post about a year ago... I love a parade and this year I got to BE in a parade. I walked with my preschool - well, actually, I didn't walk, Mumma pulled me in the wagon. We went to the store together and I picked out some deocrations and then Mumma and I decorated our wagon. We had lights on there too, but since it was such a beautiful sunny day, you couldn't see them. I had a great time and Grammy and Grampy brought Elliot so he could watch me and all the other people in the parade.

When I Grow Up

Yeah, put this on your Christmas list Myles, then I can play with it too!

I want to be just like my big brother Myles. He is the kewlest thing around man. I try to do all the things he does, like watch the recycling truck come (and yes, Myles is sitting in a box in the picture) and start our Christmas list from the Toys R Us catalog. To be honest though, Myles is a pretty good sport about me tagging along with him, but I don't think he really likes it. :)

SO Lame Mother...

....so how many matching t shirts and outfits is it gonna take before my Mother realizes just how totally lame this is....??? I will say in her defense though, these t shirts she made us are pretty kewl and we have gotten a lot of compliments on them. For now Elliot and I have decided to just humor her and keep "smiling" for these pictures.
