Elliot's 2nd Birthday Party

So it was a couple of months late, but better late than never I guess. :)

Ian's Baptism

We welcomed Ian into God's family last Sunday. He was such a good baby during the Baptism! Wide awake and not a peep out of him. Now why can't he be that good at home? :) His Godparents are Jill and Steve Toner.

Getting SO Big

Hard to believe that I am now almost 6 weeks old! Dang, where has that time gone??? Although Mumma could probably tell you exactly where that time went! :) I am now smiling and cooing at my big brothers. I just LOVE to look at them. I am a pretty fussy baby but I think Mumma figured it out....the Moby Wrap. Man, she can snug me right up next to her in this thing and I sleep like a baby (should!).

The Middle Child

I'm tellin' ya the poor middle child just gets ripped off everything...even blog posts! I finally got on my Moms' case about posting some pictures of me - okay, well actually TAKING some picture of me to post on the blog. :)

First Day of School

It's finally here people! My first day of Young 5's at Mattawan Consolidated Schools. I was so proud of Mumma, she didn't embarrass me by crying when I got on the bus. After a brief meltdown about having to wear blue jeans, I was ready to get on the school bus. ...and so was Elliot. He just couldn't understand why he couldn't go with me; afterall if you ask him, "he's FIVE!". :) Let's hope my first day at school will go just as smoothly as my first trip on the school bus did.

My New School

Well, it's here people, the day you have been waiting nearly 5 years for.... my first day of real school. I got to go see my new classroom and meet my teacher Mrs. Henry. I will have 20 friends in my class this year. The classroom is super kewl, but my favorite part of visiting my new school was the library. I am so pumped to ride the school bus next week, let's hope I'm just as excited about actually going to school. :)

Caseville 2010

We had our annual Tomlinson "Christmas in July" get together in Caseville (aka.... "the BIG lake"). I got to see lots of family and my cousins, Kate, Jack and Claire. We had a great time playing in the sand, shuffleboard, and staying up way too late. Elliot loved to dig in the sand on the beach; almost as much as Daddy did. :)

Berrien County Fair

We went to the Berrien County Youth Fair with Grammy, Grampy, Uncle Ben, Aunt Wendy, and Wes. It was a great day for the fair! I got to pet some animals, eat some greasy fair food, and best of all.... RIDES! Daddy said that in a few years that us boys are going to have to set up a vendor booth and start guessing peoples weight to make some money to go to the fair.

Week 3

Brotherly Love

The pediatrician told Mumma at Ians 2 week check up that "no serious injuries" has occurred with a newborn and his brothers, those don't come until later in life. :) Actually I am very good with my baby brother, Elliot on the other hand, well, he still just doesn't get it.

Ian is 2 Weeks

Ian is growing like a weed! At his 2 week check up, he weighed 8.14 pounds, which places him in the 75% percentile! (Statistically, he should have just regained his birth weight of 7.12 pounds at this point.) He was still 21" long, but in the 90% percentile for height. What!? Apparently Ian hasn't gotten the message that this family only makes skinny short kids! All Mumma has to say is that he had better fit into his brothers' hand-me-downs! :) He is doing great adjusting to his new home. He is up about 3-4 times at night and eats about every 2 hours (thus the big weight gain!).
