Ian - 9 Months

Can you believe that my Mother is actually less than two weeks late in updating you on my nine month stats!? ...recordbreaking!!! Well really I need to cut her some slack as my well baby check up was just last Monday. :) I am starting to level out on my weight - 19.4 pounds (50th percentile) and height was 27" (also 50th percentile). Overall, I am a healthy (and somewhat) happy-go-lucky infant. My doctor put on this disgusting dissolvable pill called Prevacid to see if it helps my spitting up and fussiness. Mumma says she would rather give a cat a pill than give me a pill, and believe me, the feeling is 100% mutual!!! I still just sit around where ever Mumma puts me, but sometime very soon I think I will give this crawling thing a go.

Well my old lady finally got my clues and gave up on that mushy sloppy baby food and now gives me the good stuff. Yeah, I'm talkin' some green beans, sweet potatoes, asparagus, chicken, veggie burgers, oh, and an all time fav....pancakes! Just watch me chow down now Mumma!

Ready to Swim

I am taking my first swimming lessons and am I pumped up! I'm not an analytical observer (aka, scardey cat

) like my brother Myles. I'm not afraid to just jump right in, stick my face in water and blow some bubbles. Myles is taking his own class and I get to go swimming with Daddy once a week. Before you know it I will be jumping into the lake from the dock and swimming like fish! I'll get some more pictures of me in action soon.

Easter Blessings

Jesus has risen!! Glory to God! We had a very nice Easter with Grammy, Grampy, and Great Grandma Jean. Church was even pretty kewl, but honestly only because The Toner kids sat right in front of us. :) We had a very nice brunch and then had a super fun egg hunt. I tell ya, that Easter Bunny is just as sneaky as Santa Claus! How do they do it!?

Little Builders

Daddy has been taking us to the local hardware stores for some male bonding time building a kid friendly project. Daddy is always very careful to start the nails for us rather than hold the nail while we hammer. I think it only took him holding the nail one time before he figured that one out. :) This time we built a jewelry holder. Each time we complete a project we get a pin or badge that we put on our aprons.

Another Good Patient

...."better late than never..." Geez, how many times am I gonna hear my Mother say that about me and uploading my pictures? Well, you probably know that I had my PET (pressure equalization tube) surgery on March 18 and here I am all ready for the surgery. I even got to wear these awesome hospital jammies. I have been doing FANTASTIC (well, health wise that is) since my surgery. I even started to sleep through the night. Now don't get me wrong, I am still a VERY high maintenance, spirited kid, I just feel better being that way now! :)

PLAY BALL!!!

Take me out to the (t) ball game.... Today was opening day for my Mattawan Little League Orange Team (aka The Mario's). We had pretty crappy weather - a nice 50 degree rain, but it was SO much fun playing ball with my friends. My Dad is the coach and is showing us how to play and be good teammates. Farmer John

We had a special visitor at my school today, my Mumma! Well, okay, she is pretty special but we also had Farmer John who has a traveling barnyard express where he takes farm animals to schools and helps kids learn about them. It was really kewl and I learned new things like a Mumma cow is called a cow and a girl that's not a Mumma is called a heifer and a boy cow is called a bull. Did you know that? We even got to pet all the animals. After our special Farmer John show Mumma (our classroom volunteer for the day) stayed and watched me play at recess.

Not Too High....

DHSA (Daddy Health and Safety Administration) was sure to keep a very close eye on Myles pushing me in the swing today. I had a ball and the best part was "kicking" Myles as I swung back and forth. We both laughed and laughed and laughed. ....good times!

Superbrothers

Well, we haven't tried jumping off the roof of the shed to see if we can fly since Mumma got us these superkewl superhero capes, but now that I mention it..... :)

Spring Break Sports Camp

I went to a mini-sports camp over spring break and got to play all sorts of kewl sports like basketball, baseball, lacrosse/hockey, and soccer. We even got to go swimming each day. I won a medal Tuesday, I don't remember what for, but man was I proud!!
