I'm 9 Months Old!

Boy, have I been busy lately. I got to see my cousin Kate, Uncle Eric & Aunt Jen, my Nana and Grandpa James, Great Grandmas and Grandpa, and Great Uncle Rick and Aunt Carla, Great Uncle Tim and Aunt Becki.... (at Kates Baptism) a couple of weeks ago. It sure was hot that day - but I didn't really care becuase I slept the entire car ride there and back home.

Oh, and I had my 9 month pictures taken. I think it's so funny when that lady with the camera makes funny noises at me - I just laugh and laugh. I'll show you some pictures once they come in.

Mumma feeds me lots of apples, but it doesn't seem to keep that mean doctor away. Well, it's not actually the doctor that's mean - he gave me a book (and we all know that I LOVE books), it's those mean nurses. They poked me two more times at my 9 month check up. I'm a pretty big boy though - I only cry (well more like scream) when they give me the poke, then Mumma picks me up and I'm all better. I am 28" long and weighed 18.4 pounds, which puts me in the 25% percentile for height and 10-15% percentile for weight. I guess I'm just gonna be a short skinny kid.

I'm not quite crawling yet, although I can scoot around on my butt pretty good. I also like to roll and roll and roll! Oh - but I can stand up (with a little help) for a few seconds see...
My Grammy says I'm just going to skip crawling and start walking - then I will really make Mumma and Daddy run after me!

I know my Doggy (Higgins) and my Kitties (Jackson and Pippy). When I see Higgins I say "geee geee" and I just love to play with him. The Kitties are fun too, but they must not like me too well cuz they just run away when I yell at them.

Have you seen my new bathtub? It's so much fun! I just don't want to get out. I really like playing with the baby duckies that my Great Grandma Jean got for me. They squirt water and I think that is soooo funny!

Ahhh, this is the life!!

I got a new big boy chair!!! I got too big for my baby bouncy chair so Mumma bought me this new "lazy boy"! Mumma caught me watching my Baby Einstein DVD; I was learning about body parts like head, shoulders, knees and toes! It mad me sad to see the giraffe puppets crying so I cried too, but Mumma said that the giraffes weren't really sad, they were just showing me what "sad" is.

My New Game

I have a new game!!! Mumma calls it "cause and effect" but I call it drop toys out of my pack and play and someone will pick them up and give them right back to me to drop again! Yehp, I've figured this game out pretty well!!! See....

Howdy Ma'am

Over the holiday weekend we had a big party with funny hats, this prickly stuff called straw, and a really smelly hot thing called a campfire. We had our annual 4th of July party and this year it was a Texas Hoe Down. I got to see my cousin Kate - boy is she getting big (but still not as big as me yet!). I think me and my (Great) Aunt Sue look pretty good in our hats! I put a couple pictures from the Hoe Down for you...

My New Boats

Check out my new boats! My Grammy and Grampy got me this boat for Christmas. It's so kewl cuz it's a convertible! So on the shady cool days, Mumma can drop the top for me! I got to use my new boat in the lake too! I just LOVE all of the waves!!! They are so much fun! I also like it when my doggy Higgins swims with me.


Over the weekend, I also got to use my new Froggy boat in a really big pool! This pool was so much bigger than my pool; Mumma would take me all around the pool. She told me that she had a Froggy boat just like mine when she was a little girl. She said she loved to swim in hers just like I like to swim in mine. I have so much fun swimming - I just don't want to get out of the water.

Some Advice from Me to....

So just because I don't pooh for a few days - don't think you have to feed me every fruit and/or vegetable full of fiber on the Earth. ...and if you do feed me Prunes and Applesauce for two days straight, well, all I have to say is... be prepared for a 10 wiper diaper! :) Mumma just wouldn't listen to me, so I showed her... three days in a row now... :) ...oh and by the way, Prunes come out looking the exact same as they did going in!

So Many New Things

Look at my new chair!!! Mumma & Pappa says I look like a Ralph Lauren baby model in this picture... whatever that means. I'm a little to small for my chair this year, but you wait, boy oh boy, next year I will be rockin'!

I got to go see this really big lake called Lake Michigan last weekend. There were lots of people, and sand, and a really really big lake, with big waves. My Mumma was a drag and wouldn't let me go swimming though, she says the water is too cold. ...whatever! We took our family picture on the beach, but because there was so many new things for me to see, who cares about pictures!!! Thanks Uncle Dave for taking the pictures!! I will show you them later.

Mr. Whiskers

Hey it's Mr. Whiskers (aka my Grampy). He has this funny prickly stuff on his face that I like pulling! ...and Grampy makes funny noises when I do! It's kinda like Mummas hair, but there's not as much to grab onto and it's really pokey!

He's pretty good at this feeding thing; he makes these really kewl airplane sounds when he feeds me.

Happy Father's Day Pappa!

It was my Pappas birthday and Father's Day; he had to work alot over the weekend, but when he got home we had a great time together. I got to go swimming in my pool, help with the grill, play with my doggy Higgins, and go for a long walk. Best of all I got to help unwrap all of Pappa and Grampys presents! Boy was that fun!!!












Pappa read me all of my books too - I have the best Pappa in the whole wide world!

My New Ride
