Our Cousin Wes

We finally got to see our new baby cousin Wesley... he is soooo little! He is really good baby and boy o boy can you tell he's a Hudson....that boy can toot!!! :)

We had Grammys 60th birthday party last weekend so we got to see baby Wes and our cousins Nick and Nathan too. Nathan is soooo kewl.... I followed him around all weekend!

Elliot 7 Months

Can you believe that I am 7 months old - well, actually now, closer to 8 months! I tell ya, it's great being the second kid.... you get away with so much more! And the real yummy food comes sooner too! I am now starting to "chew" - well, with the two teeth that I have - and Mumma is givin' me the good stuff! So far I have had Cool Whip (yummy!), pizza, bananas, cookies, juice, and best of all.... FROSTING! Man, my brother was right... this stuff rocks!

My teachers at school did my hair one day.... how do you like my moo-haha (as Myles would say - aka mowhawk)!?

Happy St Patrick's Day

I have no idea what this holiday is all about, however, all I do know is that we got to make these sweet tie-dye shirts at school (mine is stripes and Elis is circles) and we also got to have a picnic lunch outside. It was sweet! Mumma even cut my PB sandwich into little shamrocks for me. :)

Cooks and Books

I went to the Young Chefs Academy for a Cooks and Books class. We were supposed to make animal sugar cookies then go to a kewl kids only bookstore for book time (about animals). Well, as it turns out, the cookies were just circles but that didn't bother me! I had a great time. The best part was not the cookies or the books, but the FROSTING! Mmmmm.... first thing I did was dig right into that delicious frosting! Next time I go to the class, it will be pancakes - one of my favs! The bookstore was really kewl too - I could spend all day in there, but Mumma says that would bankrupt her.... whatever...

Ahhh... Springtime is Here...

...or so let's hope so anyway. Well, technically it won't arrive for a few days, but it was so good to go outside and play! Elliot even joined me and Mason on the playset. I helped Daddy grill dinner too. ....what's for dinner? you ask... well since I have been working on my culinary skills (see next post), I decided to grill up some pinecones. :) ...you definitely don't want to overcook them!

Sunny Arizona!

We went for our first cross-country family vacation in March. We went to go visit Grandpa JT and Grandma Mary in Scottsdale, AZ. We got to ride on a school bus (aka shuttle service) and a big airplane! Me and Eli were very good little travelers and adjusted to the time change pretty good. We had so much fun swimming in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows, and best of all was a super kewl train park. I got to tour a real steam train and then ride on a little train just my size. It was sweet! Coming home was a pretty long day, but boy o' boy was it a fun vacation!

Meet Wesley James Hudson

Happy Birthday Wes!!! Our new cousin was born Feb 24, 2009!!!! Aunt Wendy had a pretty long labor, but is doing great. Wes is being monitored in the nursery just to make sure everything is okay since he had a little fluid in his lungs when he was born. And that thing coming out of his nose is a feeding tube so he can grow big. He looks a lot like his Mumma but sure does have that Hudson stubbornness! :) I can't wait until he's big enough to play with me and Elliot....

Rub a Dub Dub... TWO Tomlinsons in the Tub

Elliot can now take a tubby with me and it's sooo much fun! He gets a big kick out of it too. I'm thinking this will be the first of MANY tubbies together. :)
...okay, so I got ahold of the bubbles when Daddy wasn't looking.... Mumma said she thought this tubby was going to turn into an episode of "I Love Lucy"....whatever that is... ")

Happy Valentine's Day

Ahhh...the day for lovers.... forget that mush.... we went to a (Kalamazoo Wings) hockey game with lot of action and a big scary green bird (named Slappy). Mumma wasn't sure how I would do at the game, but it was a BLAST!! I watched the entire game, only taking a break for some popcorn, a hot dog, and then to pee. I even got my picture taken with Slappy (the team mascot) - honestly, I wasn't really all too thrilled with that big fuzzy bird, but he was kewl and autographed his "slapper" for me. I used it the entire game long! I would listen to the fans around me and then yell at the players along with them.

Two Teeth

...look close, they're there... two teeth on the bottom. And if you don't believe ME, just ask my Mumma about those teeth when I chop down on her! :)

Funny But Not...

I'll tell ya some funny stuff alright (see video below).... but what's NOT funny... 6 month old doctors appointments. Dang...what did I do wrong!? Five more pokes this time, oh, and then there's the yummy Rotavirus oral vaccine.... and just for fun, apparently I have to go back in a month for another flu shot! Geez.

Anyhoo, I'm still a short skinny kid like by brother - but healthy. Mumma tried feeding me some rice cereal and I told her that I just wasn't havin' it.... no thanks, just keep the milk comin' Mumma. I can now sit up by myself for a few minutes but still refuse to roll over, cuz that would mean that I would end up on my tummy, and if you don't know, I HATE that!

Me, and My Brother

Mumma says that I sure do share nicely with my brother. I love to share toys with him and show him how things work....although I hate to break it to her, but that will probably all change once Elliot starts playing with my stuff! :)

Dang...would these teeth just pop through already...! It has been over a month now that I have slobbering and chewing on everything that will fit into my mouth (and some things that won't fit). Come on teeth...
