Dull Winter Day

But not a dull boy!

First (Ice) Skate

....and I thought WALKING on ice was slippery! Then you strap on a pair of hockey skates, and watch me fly!!! Momma and Daddy took me and Elliot ice skating for the first time today. We had a good time and for the most part were pretty cooperative about the whole process. I didn't want to get too far away from Daddy, okay, let's be honest, I had a death grip on his arm, but I didn't fall and neither did he! I am looking forward to going again very soon! Elliot did GREAT for his first time, he even put on hockey skates and went probably 1/4 of the way around with his walker. But not long after that, he decided it was better to just sit on the side and watch.

We took the opportunity to cash in on some fantastic sledding in our neighborhood while Myles was at a friends birthday party. And it was awesome!!! Daddy pulled me, Ian, and Momma all the way there on the tabagon. Okay, so it really wasn't all that far, but there were some pretty good hills he had to climb! We all went sledding and had a ball!! I even went all by myself....good thing my chicken brother Myles didn't go with us, cuz I woulda' smoked him on those hills!!!

My Principal, Mr. Wheaton

At my school Winter Celebration I gave my principal (who I LOVE) Mr. Wheaton an elf ornament that I made. He loved it and my teacher Mrs. Niewooder took our picture. He is a great principal that every year makes it a priority to call each and every student at my school. This is called a "super call" and you get one when you have had good behavior or demonstrated our monthly lifeskill that we learn at school. I haven't gotten my super call for this year yet, but I'm betting it will happen very soon!

The Glory of Christmas

....and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a Nintendo DS and that Santa was HERE!!! Oh, he came, he came!!!! Honestly, I kinda forgot it was Christmas morning, but only for a a while and then I raced downstairs to see what goodies Santa left for me. And I am very proud to say that after three, yes three very long years of asking, I finally got my DS!!!! Oh, the Christmas joy!!! I got a lot of kewl other things too, but nothing like seeing that DS glow in the awesomeness of the Christmas tree lights. Elliot got a sweet pirate ship (just what he asked Santa for) and Ian a new car racing tower.

Momma said she had been up since 5:30 AM waiting for us to get up, which happened at 7:00 AM (for the first time) for me to go pee, then I went right back to bed. Got up at 7:30 AM to go pee again, and went back to bed, and shortly later remembered it was Christmas morning and quickly ran downstairs....I don't think Elliot was awake when he went downstairs. :) Oh, and there really was a Christmas miracle that day (other than Jesus, of course), Ian slept until nearly 8:30 AM!

Little Caesars Pizza Bowl

Momma and Daddy took me and Elliot to Ford Field to watch the WMU Broncos. It was awesome!!! And did you know the Detriot Lions also play at this field!? I was also pretty impressed seeing where the Tigers play baseball too!

Mother And Son VanGogh Fun

I sketched a Starry Night at school in art class so Momma thought it would be fun to paint the real thing, so we did! I had a great time and did almost all the painting myself.

Elliot's Christmas Program

We went to watch Elliot's preschools Christmas program. All of the kids did a GREAT job!

Santa Visit

So we got a bit of a late start seeing Santa this year, but as usual, he already knew just what Elliot and I wanted for Christmas. ....how does he do it!? Ian was overall pretty good with Santa, although he did scream for a bit but slowly warmed up to him. Elliot was quick to rattle off his Christmas list and I was sure to think very hard and make sure I told him everything on my list.

Okay, so maybe I haven't been the best boy around this year, but after my Mother bought these ridiculous diapers for me, I think I can pretty much demand my Christmas presents this year! And she wonders why I don't hold still for the camera....geesh....

O Christmas Tree VI

Year six...can you believe it!? We made our annual trip (in the big truck!) to the christmas tree farm to pick out our tree. And man, was it muddy!!! (And totally awesome if I really have to point that out....) We found our tree right away and it is just perfect in our home.

We decided it would be best to decorate it while Ian was napping, cuz, well honestly, he really wouldn't be any help anyway! :)

Elliot's Soccer

Finally, a sport for me! I got to play soccer for a few weeks this fall and had a ball. Well, actually I just liked running around, but chasing after the ball was fun too. Next on the agenda....swimming lessons!
