Happy Mother's Day

I made a very special card for Mumma at school this week. It was pretty fun making it, cuz I got to make my handprint with paint! We couldn't really do much outside for Mother's Day (it rained all day long) so I gave Mumma an extra present and took a 4 (yes, that is a 4) hour nap. Mason and I got our Mummas a bench to sit outside and watch us on the playset. Daddy and Steve (that's Masons Dad) got them a matching bench for us. I'll show you some pictures once we can actually go outside when it's not pouring rain!

Emmas Birthday Party

I went to my friend Emmas 2nd birthday party at the park today. Boy was it fun! I got to play with all of my friends. I was still on my fearless streak and even better my Dad wasn't there to get all paranoid about me climbing and slow me down! (Sorry Dad....) But Mumma was there to make sure that I looked like a total geek and put my hood up cuz it got kinda chilly at lunch time. I tell ya, I just can't win with these parents of mine.... :)

We had pizza and of course birthday cake (well at least the frosting off the birthday cake).

Fearless

Well, as you probably already know, I'm a pretty well...., let's say "cautious" kid.... It must have been the Wheaties (or fried egg) that I had for breakfast, but today I decided I was fearless!!! I climbed, went down the slide, jumped, you name it - I did it! I need to practice my slide dismount though - I usually just end up on my butt on the ground. I think I gave my Dad a bit of a heart attack with my new found fearlessness....

Ahhh... Warm Weather

Okay, so my teeth were still chattering when I was swimming in my pool at the lake, but boy o' boy did it feel good!!! We even got to go for the first pontoon (aka "tooner") of the year.

Yehp, even Thomas the Tank Engine underpants!!! I still refuse to use the potty though; I think this is yet another futile attempt by my Mom to try to get me to be a big boy and use the potty. HA!!! Although in my defense, just to make my Mom get off my back, I did sit on the big potty and actually go pee last weekend. I figured I should at least throw her a bone or something.... :)

My New Train Table

.... after all this time of playing with my trains on the floor, I finally got a new train table! Well, it's not actually new.... one of Mummas friends found the table and alot of new track pieces at a garage sale. Who cares, it looks brand new to me!

Tubby Time

I got to take a tubby with Mason and Mindy (that's Masons' Mom) gave us a totally kewl hairdo. Can you believe that I actually had enough hair to pull this one off??? :)

Go Fly a Kite

.....well that's the idea anyway. Daddy obviously needs a lesson or two in kite flying... how embarrassing when he got the kite stuck in one of the TWO trees that we have in our backyard!

It's Been a While...

I know, I know, it's been a while since I have updated my blog. Hey, now that the weather is nice, who wants to be in front of a computer when I can be outside playing!?
ahhh...nothing goes better with my Lucky Charms for breakfast than my white chocolate Easter bunny!!
I still REFUSE to use the potty (even though I tell my Mumma when I pee-ed or pooped), but my toys sure do a good job! Besides, who wants to take time out of their busy play schedule to sit on a potty when you can just do it in your pants!?

Have Yourself A Merry Little...

....EASTER!? Whassup with this!? We got 15" of snow the first full day of Spring. I thought this stuff was suppose to go away this time of the year? Anyhoo, needless to say, Easter was pretty cold and snowy here but still fun. I got an Easter basket from my Grammy & Grandpa, Great Grandma Jean, and Great Grandma Maggie. SCORE!

Aaahhh, Spring at LAST!

Now that the snow has melted and I can actually SEE my sandbox, I just had to get outside to play! Oh did it feel good to have my little hands back digging in that sand!

I got a new "baseball bat and ball" set to play with outside too; well, I use it more or less like a golf club and ball, but oh well, one of these days I will figure out the hang of it.

Egg Hunt

I had an Easter egg hunt with my friends Gavin, Mason, and Trey. It was a lot of fun! My friend Mason just didn't get it, cuz all he wanted to do was to actually pick up the eggs that were spread all over the house.... ahh...duh... just find the eggs and crack them open right away to see what's inside and move on to the next egg...! After the egg hunt, we all had lunch and then ate a yummy bunny treat thatTreys Mumma made.

My New Trains

So I wake up from my nap one day (if you can believe that I was actually TAKING a nap!) and come downstairs and find this super score on new Thomas trains! (Well, they're not actually new - Mumma found them on Ebay...whatever that is...) Mumma & Daddy got me so many new trains.... well, actually, they're engines, not trains.... even Cranky (the tall crane as if you couldn't have guessed by his name). Now I have a pretty big collection, but I have run out of track! I will play with my trains for what seems like hours! I even took one of my new engines, Duncan, to bed with me. :)

Pink or Blue???

.....I'm going to have a little....... BROTHER!!! There ain't no doubt about it (see the first picture below). :) So, Mumma was right (again!). I guess the old saying is true that "a Mother knows". I'm so excited to meet my little brother and share all of my Thomas trains with him! Mumma told me that the doctors said my brother is perfectly healthy. Here are a few pictures for you to look at...good luck trying figure out what they are - well, except for the first one, that one is pretty obivous!

Easy Like Sunday Morning...

....okay, so it wasn't Sunday morning it was afternoon, but Daddy, Higgins, and I decided to catch up on some ZZZZZzzzzz's. Which for me these days is OKAY with Mumma since I rarely will take time out of my busy days to nap.

Mason and I decided to whip up some dinner one afternoon. I just don't understand why it takes Mumma so long to get dinner around....it didn't take us anytime at all! :)
Of course we sat down and enjoyed our delicious meal!

It's Been a While.....

....I know, I know, get off my back.... it's been a while since I have updated my blog. Apparently you just don't understand that I am a busy man, with lots of things to do! :)

Well, where should I start? Let's see... well, I'm totally over Cars... yehp, I have moved onto Thomas the Tank Engine. He's the greatest! My Great Grandma Jean got me my first Thomas train and track set for Christmas and I just love it! I will play with it for hours! I wish my cheap parents would just go buy the rest of the train engines for me to play with, but they said at about $15.00 a pop, that I will just have to ask the Easter Bunny for some new engines! So far I have Thomas, Percy, Gordon, James, Annie & Clarabel, Diesel, and Bertie the Bus. I think my next investment will either be Murdoch or Henry. ....or maybe Toby.... the possibilities are endless!

While Mumma was on her ski trip Daddy turned our dining room into a playroom for me. It's pretty kewl having some space of my own. So, don't plan on coming over for dinner anytime soon! ....well unless you don't mind sitting at my plastic picnic table! :)

I start my Kindermusik classes again - this time we are learning about music through things like go, like TRAINS, buses, cars, and airplanes. This semester is pretty kewl, no more of that goo-goo-gah-gah baby nursery rhyme stuff. I also started my Kids Gym (tumbling) class again - boy does that feel good to burn off some steam since I can't go outside as much to play!

I have decided to pretty much give up naps - don't want to miss any prime playtime! So I am usually pretty much a cranky monster come about 4:00. And I am still getting up before the chickens - although it's getting better now, usually around 6:15-6:30 AM (and that is better than the 5:00 AM wake up call). Mumma and Daddy said they can't wait for daylight savings time to start in a few weeks.... what's that all about?
