Labor Day Weekend

Well, the unofficial last day of Summer came and went, and boy was it hot!!! We went to the lake for the weekend and had a good time. Once again, Elliot just laid around but I did lots of fun stuff. Like take tooners, went on a paddle boat ride with Grammy and Great Aunt Sue, and the best way to kick of the weekend.... book time with Daddy and Elliot!

The BIG Lake

We took our first family vacation to the BIG lake. I'm used to our little lake but this time we went to a cottage at Sand Point on Lake Huron for a Tomlinson family get together. It was great playing in the ginormous sand box and building sand castles with Dad. Elliot pretty much just laid around all weekend. I got to see my cousins Kate and Jack, Aunts, Uncles, Great Grandma T and Grandpa JT and Grandma Mary. The best part about the trip was getting to eat my Happy Meal in the car while watching a DVD and playing in a cornfield while Mumma fed Elliot his meal that made him happy! :)

Mummas First Paycheck

Well, after 4 weeks and 3 days of Mumma changing my poopy diapers, feeding me at all hours of the day and night, and making me look good for the ladies..... I finally decided to pay up (with my first real non-peeing induced smile). I think she was pretty happy with the salary and benefit package that I offered her. :)

Capt'n Myles

Ahoy there matey!!! I thought I would give Grandpas sailboat a spin... I look like I know what I'm doing, don't I???? I know, I know.... where's my PFD (personal flotation device), my Mom said the same thing! :)

Who cares if I pee and it runs down my legs!? I know eventually they will clean me up and put a nice and absorbent diaper back on me. :) Mu ha ha ha ha.... (that is my evil laugh)

This is now my third haircut with Jill. I'm getting a little better with these haircut things, but for now, I think I will still sit on Grammys lap!

Our First Outing

Elliot and I had our first outing together with Mumma. We went to the Kalamazoo County Fair. Probably not the best place for a 2 week old baby, but I sure did have fun! We got to see lots of animals and big trucks and tractors, ate a corn dog, and I got to ride some rides! I was a very good boy for Mumma with only one meltdown (having to get off the train ride). We met my friends Gavin, Mason and Lily, and Emma at the fair. All Eli did was sleep, he sure did miss out on some kewl stuff.

Elliot is 2 Weeks

Can you believe it???? I'm 2 weeks old already! Man, time flies when all you do is eat, poop, and sleep..... and sometimes I do two of those things at the same time! I am growing like crazy; at my doctors appointment I was 8#2 oz - which puts me in the 25% percentile. So, at this rate, it looks like I'm gonna be another skinny kid like by big brother Myles. :)

Time to Share

Well, I have decided to share my blog with my brother Elliot. Mumma said she would help him get started and then I can show him the ropes. So from now on, you will see updates and pictures of me and Eli! I decided to share some of my toys with my little brother too....

Time with Dad

Since Mumma has been so busy with Elliot lately, Dad and I have spent some good time together. We built a campfire, "camped" out in a tent, and had a bubble bath. Dad went a little overboard with the bubble bath, but it sure was fun playing in all those bubbles.

Meet My Baby Brother Elliot Hudson

Happy Birthday Blue! Finally, after a really long time, I finally get to meet Blue.... I mean Elliot! He is just soooo cute and so far I am being a very good big brother to him.

Elliot was born Sunday, July 20th at 2:01 AM. He was 7 pounds and 7 ounces and 21.25 inches long. So he was exactly one pounds less than me when I was born. Mumma said that was a good thing! :) Mumma came home from the hospital on Monday afternoon and is doing pretty good.

4th of July 2008

This year for our annual July 4th theme party, we had a fiesta! Apparently there was lots of yummy Mexican food, beer, and margaritas, but I thought it would be best to stick my comfort foods... corn dogs! Although I did eat two taquitos that were pretty yummy! Oh, and of course ate the candy that fell out of the pinata! :)

Rainbow

One stormy and sunny afternoon, we got to see this pretty rainbow out our back door. If you look really close, there are actually two rainbows there.

My First Dentist Visit

So Mindy (Masons Mumma) calls Mumma one morning and thinks it would be "fun" for Mason and I to go to the dentist (Masons Daddy) for a "teeth cleaning". I have no idea what these two chicks were thinking, cuz the words "fun" and "dentist", just don't jive in my book. There was no way they were gonna stick some squirt gun, slurping straw, or loud scary tooth polisher in MY mouth! ....dude, do they just think I'm totally stupid or what!? I did finally let Steve, I mean Dr. Ray, brush my teeth with my new Chick Hicks (from Cars) toothbrush.

....and the BEST part about going to the dentist..... well, other than leaving, the toy chest at the end of the visit! :)

Sprinkler Time

Mason and I got to play in the sprinklers one very warm day last week. Masons awesome beach ball sprinkler totally makes my cheap garage sale fire hydrant sprinkler look wwhhhay lame..... After we were shivering from running through freezing cold hose water, we got ice cream sandwiches, mmmmmm......
