Happy Birthday Ian!!

Man, he finally got here!!! Ian Joseph Tomlinson was born on Sunday, July 25 at 11:12 AM. We weighed 7.12 pounds and was 21" long. He is so small, but is getting bigger each day. I just LOVE holding him and I told him that if anyone ever tries to hurt him that I would "fight them, even if they are a stranger". Mumma is doing well and I think Ian is really gonna like his new home.

Happy 4th of July 2010!!!

We had another great weekend at the lake for the 4th of July. Boy was it hot!!! But that didn't bother me and Elliot since we were in water all the time!!! We had a great time playing in the water, going for a golf cart ride, and of course watching the fireworks over the lake.

Little Athlete

Okay, so I'm no Michael Phelps, but I am doing pretty good in my private swimming lessons. I'm a bit on well, let's say the reserved side when it comes to jumping and diving in the pool, but once I do (very gingerly) get in I am a pretty good swimmer. My teacher Oscar said soon I shouldn't need any "extra help" (aka floatation device) to help me swim.

This is my lacrosse class that I take at the Y. I'm actually pretty good - or so says my teacher, Coach Don.

Here I am at goalie - I'm an excellent goalie when I am actually watching MY game instead of the old farts playing pickleball on the court next to me. :)

Happy Father's Day

Mumma thought a good Father's Day present for Daddy would be a remote control helicopter.... wrong...that was a great present for ME! I love to fly this thing. We had a great Father's Day with Daddy - but would you expect any different since we have such a great Father? :)

Kalamazoo Klassic Kids Run 2010

I had my third "race" of the season - the Kalamazoo Klassic. It's a 1K race, but don't think that it's easy, cuz the hills on the course are killer!! Daddy ran with me and I also met up with my BFF Mason and his sister Lily. Daddy calls me a "digital runner" - I'm either on or off! As usual, Elliot and Mumma were at the finish line cheering me on!

Penny Pinchers..

Mumma and Daddy thought they could save a few more bucks and start giving me and Elliot haircuts at home. Well, actually, if you recall from Elliots first haircut post, he really wasn't all that crazy about having his haircut, so I guess they thought they would give it a try to see if he liked it any better. Apparently, they thought they would get their moneys' worth too and just pretty much shave this head! :) Actually, I will admit, they did do a pretty good job, given their client that is....

Healthy Kids Run 2010

You all know how much I love to run in races...and this race was my second of the season. It was 1.55 miles and Daddy ran with me. He said I am a "digital runner" - either run like crazy or stop. ....whatever. I had a great time and Mumma and Elliot were at the finish line cheering me on. I have another 1K race on June 18 that is super sweet cuz I get to run with the WMU football players.

Memorial Day 2010

The best thing about ending our vacation to Myrtle Beach, was coming home to a holiday weekend! We went to the lake for some more fun in the sun (although the weather was much nicer here than in SC!). We also celebrated (Great) Grandma Jeans 85th birthday. What a great way to end an excellent family vacation!!

More Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, SC

We are on our first official family vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. Mumma and Daddy thought they would take us somewhere extra fun and exciting before the baby comes, which, is only in about 7 weeks now.

The vacation started out great with another airplane ride and then we checked into our sweet condo. We even got to see Uncle Ben, Aunt Wendy, and Wes for a little bit before they left for back home. We can hear and see the ocean right outside on our balcony! All Elliot and I have to say is that this place is AWE-SOME!!! There are so many fun kid things to do here at the resort....as a matter of fact, we haven't even left the resort yet! One of my favorites is the lazy river (actually all 3 lazy rivers!), I could just float all day long in this pool. Of course a second fav is the beach and running into the waves in the ocean. Elliot likes doing that too, but the waves are a bit too strong for him and he usually ends up on the ground when the waves come in. Daddy and me went down a big water slide, played some shuffleboard and lots of other fun things while Elliot was napping. Stay tuned for some more pictures from our great family vacation!

The First "Myles"stone

I had my preschool graduation ceremony - we sang a couple songs and then got our "diplomas". My Grammy and Grampy came to see me on my special day too. Can you believe that in just a few months I will be riding a big yellow school bus and going to young 5's!?

I also included a couple of pictures from my Morning with Moms Day at preschool a couple of weeks ago. It was my turn for the "sharing bag" (aka for you old timers, show and tell). I took a wooden train that me and Mumma glued together and then painted. All of my friends thought it was pretty sweet. That's my teacher Mrs. Sward in the picture(s) with me.

Boys Will Be Boys

Daddy took me to the this sweet hobby shop one afternoon to look at all the kewl "toys". (I really think that Daddy wanted to go to the hobby shop, cuz honestly, there weren't very many toys for me there!) He did buy me a rocket that flies super high up in the air when you jump on a launch pad - I don't think Mumma was impressed. :)

I also got a new big kid bike! It's a Hot Wheels bike....and it even came with handlebars that you can "rev up" like a car. How sweet is that!? I was so excited to see my bike arrive in the mail that I opened the box and got all of the pieces out myself for Daddy to put together.

Elliot's First (professional!) Haircut

I guess I finally got through to my Mother after the last hack-job a haircut that she and my Dad gave me to take me to a professional!!! I was totally kewl with the haircut thing, even the clippers until Jill (my hairdresser) got out this crazy thing to trim the back of my neck. I wanted nothing to do with that thing and had to end my haircut just a bit early (as you will see in the picture below!). Mumma says I don't look like a baby anymore now that I have my new haircut. ....ah, hello, I'm NOT a baby anymore Mumma! :)

There, now doesn't this haircut look much better than my other hack-job haircuts!?
