Check out my new wheels....sweet ride, huh!? My best buddy Mason got me this kewl new riding\walking car. I'm not very good at it yet, but soon I will be cruising all around my house.

Being 1 ROCKS!

Happy Birthday to me!!! I turned one on October 16. Mumma & Dadda had a really big party for me, with cake and all! Oh....and LOTS of balloons (my new favorite thing in case you didn't know). There were so many people at my birthday party, it was nice to see everyone, but it was a little scary for me. All those people watching me. I handled it pretty well though.

I got so many new toys and BOOKS! I am a pretty lucky little boy to have such nice friends and family. I told Dadda to get to work on the basement so I can have lots of room to play with all of my new toys. Here are a couple pictures of my birthday cake and some of my new toys. My Nana and Grandpa James got me a "Harley" just like Daddas! Mumma says I can't get my own real motorcycle until I'm 24.

"Glee" Club

....well, that's what my Dad calls it, but it's really called Kindermusik and it's Mumma and my music class. We go every Wednesday and sing, dance, and play with "instruments". This is my teacher, Ms. Debbie and of course my best buddy Mason. These shakers eggs are my favorite!!! There are five other kids in my class; Allison, she's the old one at 15 months, Mason, Gavin, and Tre (his real name is Robert but we call him Tre). We have a lot of fun together in class and just as much fun playing together after class!

The Great Pumpkin

We went to the pumpkin patch with Mason and his Mumma and Daddy. Some of those pumpkins were way bigger than I am!! (Well, actually, alot of the pumpkins were bigger than me!)

Then after we picked out our pumpkins we went to the apple orchard and got some fresh cider donuts and apple cider.... YUMMY!!! We had a fun day!

Playin Around

Gosh, new things happen with me just about everyday now. I'm really starting to check out my house and "get into things" as Mumma says. I'm really listening to everyone talk and trying to remember all of those words, but boy o' boy, are there a lot of them to keep track of! Mumma thinks I have a pretty large vo-cab-u-lar-y. Now that's a big word!

Oh - I forgot to tell you.... baby food.... is for the birds! Yeah, I gave up on that stuff a couple of weeks ago. Mumma started giving me food from her plate and I just love it! It tastes so much better than that mushy baby food! ...have you ever tasted the green beans??.... yeah, I didn't think so! I think my favorite so far is macaroni and cheese - Mumma says that's her favorite too! And I'm getting three more teeth to help mush up all this big boy food. Yep, one canine and two molars. My friend Masons' Mumma told me and Mumma what those teeth are called. So let's see, once these are in that will make 11 teeth for me! Only 9 more to go!

I love to wave "hi" and "bye bye", but sometimes am a little slow on the draw. Give me time and I'll catch on. I also like to get my groove on and dance! Look out Fred Astaire!

Oh - and I decided to start crawling too. Well, I still use my commando crawl if I'm on a mission for something (usually my kitty cats) cuz I'm so much faster. I haven't started walking yet, yeah, I think I'll probably do that in another couple weeks or so.

My NEW Lazy Boy

So check out my new Lazy Boy. It's not the most comfortable chair around, but it has so many kewl things..... Like a lamp that lights up and a book - and we all know how much I LOVE books - and a clock. And when you sit down in it - it plays music.... and I dance, dance, dance.

It's Fair Time

Okay, so have you ever had these things called "smoothies"??? Oh man are they good!!! My (Great) Aunt Sue let me have a taste of hers and that one taste just made me want more and more! The only way they would give me more is if I started crying when they took it away - so guess what I did!? :) Let's see, I got to eat some french fries, baked chicken, applesauce, and yeah, and ice cream too!!!



I got to see lots of animals at the fair too. Like pigs, cows, horses, ducks, and goats. I also got to visit a baby pettting zoo where there was a kangaroo, sloth, cougar, and lemurs. I think my favorite was the goats - they look my doggy Higgins! All I wanted to do was pet them.

I got to go on my first carousel ride too! Yeah, I'm not so crazy about this thing, all it does is go up and down and round and round.... big deal. I got pretty bored with it by the time it was over.

Oh - I also got to go "duck" hunting. It was way more fun for me to just splash around in the water!

Labor Day Weekend

I went to the lake again!!! Yippie! Boy do I have fun there!! I got to see a lot of my family and got to try a lot of new food (thanks Grammy) like potato chips, orange jello, and watermelon. I think the potato chips were my favorite. My cousin Nicholas read me some books, and we all know how much I LOVE books! It was too cold to go swimming, well that's what my Mumma says anyway, I didn't think so, but she won and I couldn't go.... bummer. I did get to go for a nice tooner (that's what everyone calls a pontoon ride) and it put me right to sleep. I sure do hate wearing that stupid life jacket, but Mumma always says, safety first! I got spoiled rotten by my Grammy and Great Grandmas. That doesn't bother me one bit!!!

What's New with Me!

Oh boy, let's see what's new with me.... Well, you know that I am mobile now, but now I can get up onto all fours. I haven't actually tried to go anywhere when I'm on all fours, but one day soon I will. It's still much eaiser to do my commando crawl! I can also pull myself up into a standing position. I am still trying to understand Mumma and Daddy when they talk to me but I just can't say the words, but boy do I try. I recognize a lot of words like, doggy, kitty (that one is my favorite), hammer, clock, light, and fan. Oh, and I forgot to tell you that I'm really trying to wave to everyone (and thing!) too.

Tractors, Goats, and People.... Oh My!

I went to the fair!!! Oh my was there sooo much to see!!! I saw baby chicks, cows, horseys, goats (which they look a lot like my doggy Higgins, so I just wanted to pet it), lots of people, and really big tractors! Uncle Ben took me for a Superman ride through the air, boy was that fun. Mumma and Aunt Wendy let me taste some of their sno cones, yuuhhmmmy! It was super fun, but a long day for me though....

Going where no baby has gone before....

Wow - my house is huge! There's so much more to my house than just this one little room where I spend a lot of time playing with my toys. So the other day I decided I needed a change of scenery so I hit the road! Well, actually, I just started crawling around the house to different rooms. There is this different kind of floor that when you take a toy and smack it on the floor it makes a really loud BANG! Man is that kewl! I just love to take my ball and knock it on that floor! Mumma says "no no", whatever THAT means!




I can get myself into some pretty tight spots if Mumma turns her head for just a minute! See....

Stroller Strides

Every week I go to pump iron with Mumma. Well, I really just sit in my stroller and enjoy a nice walk, but Mumma works hard. Once a week we go to an exercise class called Stroller Strides with my buddy Mason and his Mumma Mindy. Mason is my neighbor and best buddy, I'm sure you have heard me talk about him before. He is three months younger than I am, but you can't tell by looking at him! ...he sure does likes his Sweet Potatoes!




Sometimes after class we get to have play time with lots of toys and other kids too - that's sooo much fun! I don't know why they always bring all these fancy toys though, all I need is an empty water bottle and I'm happy!

Look Out Here I Come!

I finally figured out how to get around my house (and get into a lot of things that I shouldn't). I kinda do a bit of a commando move for now, but hey, whatever works! My Mumma and Daddy were pretty excited about me moving around, but let's just see how that changes over the next couple of weeks!

Life's A Beach

Ahhhh.... this is the life. Layin out on the beach soakin up some rays, knockin back some milk .... Well okay, not really, but I sure did have fun with Aunt Wendy and Uncle Ben when they took me to Lake Michigan! Boy are those waves big!!! I was a little scared at first, but I got over that quick and had a good time swimming! .....and that stuff called sand... WOW! It was really hard to hold onto! :)

My Days and Nights

I spend alot of my days playing with my toys and Mummas toys (like the phone and computer). I don't get the phone though, because I can hear people that I know talk, but I can't see them? Where are they!? Mumma says I'm gonna grow up to be a computer geek like Daddy - which must be a really kewl thing to be if that's what my Daddy is!!

Frosty-licious!

Mmmm Mmmm! Now everyone knows what a fussy eater I am, but gimme a Frosty, and watch it disappear! Daddy gave me a few bites the other day and yyuuhhhmmmmeeee! It was kinda weird at first because this stuff is really cold - and I'm not used to that. But I got over that pretty quick! I got mad when he eat it all for himself and wouldn't share with me. ....Why do these people continue to feed me peas and prunes when there's Frostys!?
